Varied and extensive background in IT doing development and technical training, including UNIX/C/Macro-11 (started using in 1986), Sybase (1988), and Java (1997). Selected accomplishments: Designed and built iPhone app. Built iDefer, an iOS4 iPhone app available in the app store, as part of a two-person development team. Conceptualized idea, generated scenarios, designed UI using Balsamiq, developed, and tested. Designed and integrated new application. Recruited to design/integrate new self-directed health plan product for Blue Cross Blue Shield of FL. Gathered and evaluated business requirements. Performed business and system analyses. Developed migration strategy from stand-alone system to well integrated system on Empower platform. Improved data information system. For Volantec.biz client, Buildscape.com (internet-based building material supplier), could not agree on how to set up their information system.
